Avoid burning in drafts such as open windows, ceiling fans and air currents.
Extinguish if flame become too high or if flickering repeatedly. Let the candle cool, trim the wick and check for drafts before relighting.
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to avoid carbon build up.
Allow candle to cool before trimming wick or relighting.
Never extinguish candles with water. The water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause the container to break.
Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents.

Container/Jar Candles:

Do not burn a candle in a container that is chipped or cracked.
Do not allow candle to burn completely down to the bottom of container. Discontinue using candle when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Do not allow flame to touch sides of container, this could cause a container to crack from heat.
Containers may become hot, handle with care!
Allow candle to cool before replacing lid on jar.

Tarts or Melts:
Only use an approved tart warmer for your melts.
Never leave warmer unattended.
Keep warmer away from children and pets.
Warmer trays may become hot, handle with care!

More Helpful Hints:
Burn candles at least 1 hour for each inch of it's diameter. This allows the flame time to melt the wax to the outer edge. Burning less time will cause the candle core to burn down the middle leaving wax left on the sides of the jar and decreasing your burn time.
Wick Trimmers are great for trimming those hard to reach wicks.
To avoid fading of candles, do not leave them in direct sunlight, under fluorescent lighting or spotlights.
To extinguish a candle, it is best to use a wick dipper.
If candle is burning unevenly, the wick may have moved to one side or another, use a knife to gently push wick back to the center.
