CT River Candles was inspired by the beauty of the Connecticut River and a personal love of creating handmade products. Our soy candles are hand poured with 100% natural soy wax and scented with the finest fragrance oils. Soy's greatest advantage is that it is all natural and completely renewable unlike paraffin. Soy burns cleanly and nearly soot free.

Our Soy Spa Candles are hand poured with all natural soy wax and are offered in Glass Tumbler Jars. The jars are made of finely crafted heavy glass and come with a dust cover to keep the candle fresh and clean. We offer five (5) scents in our spa line and each evoke memories

Soy Melts

In addition to our Soy Candles, we offer highly scented Soy Melts. The soy melts are handmade with 100% natural soy wax and the finest fragrance oils. There are six cubes per package and each cube provides over 10 hours of scent!! Just break them apart and place one or two in a

tealight or electric tart burner and enjoy hours of wonderful fragrance. Have fun mixing different scents to create your own unique scent combinations. These are also great to use in office or other areas where candles are not permitted. When the scent has burned off, let the wax harden, remove and discard. Store unused tarts in the handy snapclose package.

CT River Dog

We also offer a soy wax dipped air freshener made with a Labrador Retriever plush dog. He has been aptly named the "CT River Dog". The inspiration for this product was my own Yellow Lab, Dakota. Not only does he do the title justice by his geneology but also by his continued

attempts to escape the confines of the house and conquer the river by swimming as long as we can't catch him. If you're not familiar with dipped plush animals, they make wonderful air fresheners for areas in your home that you would like to provide scent without flame, such as in a child's room. Candle Accessories

Wick Trimmers are a fantastic candle tool to have on hand for wick trimming. Not only do they enable you to keep the wick trimmed to the proper length, they are especially handy for reaching into jar candles. Their unique design catches the wick cuttings so your candle is kept clean and burns safely.

Wick Dippers are beneficial for extinguishing the candle flame without creating unnecessary smoke. You just gently dip the wick into the melted wax in pull it back up. We offer the CleanCut Designer Wick Dippers which are decorated with colorful glass beads and charms. When the wick has hardened, use your wick trimmer to keep the wick in perfect shape.
